I have heard that nanbu ironware is getting popular in Europe.
This small tea pot is also from nanbu iron.
Quite simple and beautiful!
The Japanese name of it is "Tamagonoko", and it means egg's child when I translate it literally.
It was designed by Hisao Iwashimizu, and it had been displayed at MoMA in 2000.
About lid, you can choose nanbu iron or wooden one.

ReplyDeleteDear Guitar player,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment.
It may be more famous in the U.S. or European countries than in Japan.
Sometimes I find nice Japanese design not in Japan but in other countries.
