I used to stock them in boxes and drawers, but they have been increasing...
So I made a paper stockbook by myself to organize some of them.
You can make it easily by holing papers and sewing holes with a needle and hemp thread.
In addition, I sewed an iron button and a length of thin ribbon on the front cover so that I can tie up the book.
Tickets are in small glassine bags
French buvard and old match labels
Sometimes my friends give me some fancy papers
I love airplane logos!
This is the back cover
Making books is easy and fun!
I would like to make some another books soon.
Dear Meco, it looks like a very interesting hobby of yours to collect tickets and newspaper. I am staying in Singapore. If you are willing to pay for the air freight charges, I send you a local Singapore Straits Times Newspaper.
ReplyDeleteI do not have such an interesting personal blog like yours. Mine is more for work and information. You can visit my blog at http://bealovecat.blogspot.com
Dear Mel,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your comment.
I have started this blog just a couple of days ago and yours is the first comment that I received.
Thank you for your suggestion about newspaper.
Actually, my husband has a lot of overseas business trips including Singapore and he sometimes has chances to get newspaper of Singapore.
Thank you for your kindness.
By the way, your blog looks very interesting.
I am still learning English and it takes me a long time to read English articles, but I will read your blog bit by bit.
Thank you!!
